I have always been deeply curious about the intersections of finance, economics, mathematics, and technology. In fact, this interest in learning different subjects has shaped my academic and professional journey. I hold a double bachelor’s degree in finance and global marketing and a master’s in financial economics. As part of my studies, I spent a year abroad in France, which not only broadened my perspective on Finance, but also enriched my multicultural background. Since then, I have continually sought opportunities to grow, taking specialized short courses to enhance my skills and knowledge.
 

My professional career began in private banking, where I worked for nearly three years after returning to Brazil. I then joined Bloomberg, where I worked on the Help Desk, fielding complex questions across various asset classes to assist global clients in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French. While at Bloomberg, I completed a month-long Fixed Income specialist course in New York, deepening my understanding of financial technologies. I later transitioned to a role covering Latin America, focusing on Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Ecuador. After three years in this role, I was invited to help structure the single-family office of a prominent Brazilian tycoon in the media and digital payments sectors, where I further refined my expertise in wealth management.
 

Throughout my career, I have been fascinated by the transformative potential of technology. My growing interest in applying machine learning and data science to investment processes inspired me to pursue the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF). Before enrolling, I traveled extensively for 6 months, networking with industry peers in the UK, Switzerland, France, and the United States. I also visited several quantitative hedge funds to better understand the challenges and opportunities in the field. These experiences, combined with my 15 years of experience in financial markets, solidified my decision to deepen my knowledge of advanced quantitative techniques.

The CQF program stood out for its global reputation as the premier qualification in quantitative finance. To fully immerse myself in the experience, I took a career break and dedicated myself entirely to the program. I established a disciplined study routine, attended live online lectures, and organized my notes thoroughly. I created an index of everything I learned, practiced extensively, and used on-demand lectures to revisit topics as needed.

Its rigorous and practical curriculum connects financial theory with real-world application, offering insights that are immediately relevant to the markets. The program also introduced me to a global network of professionals, including software engineers, quantitative traders, and other experts, all united by a shared passion for innovation. Being part of this community has been incredibly enriching.
 

Today, I am channeling my passion for finance and technology into founding my own consulting firm. My goal is to help the buy-side — including single and multi-family offices as well as asset managers — embrace innovation to become more efficient and data-driven. By leveraging platforms like Bloomberg and applying machine learning, I believe users can optimize processes and make investment decisions more precise.
 

I was also honored to be invited to join the OpenAI Forum as a collaborative member. The OpenAI Forum is an exclusive platform where experts and enthusiasts in artificial intelligence collaborate, discuss, and shape the future of AI. This experience has allowed me to explore innovative applications of AI in finance and stay at the forefront of technological advancements.
